You know you've been in search too long when...

Bruce Clay Australia recently attended SMX Sydney as an exhibitor, speaker and moderator focusing on search engine optimisation. There were a number of International speakers there including Danny Sullivan of Search Engine Land who has been in search for almost as long as Bruce Clay (around 12 years). How long is too long?

1. Your wife tells you she is pregnant and you worry about duplicate content penalties

2. Your kids misbehave and you threaten to take away their Page Rank

3. You consider keyword usage when writing a birthday car

4. You consider your children to be sub domains

5. You approach a detour while driving and tell those in the car with you not to worry it's just a 302 temporary redirect

6. The last time you got lost, you stopped and asked a stranger where you could find a sitemap

7. You get spidered or crawled you are very happy about it

8. You worry that if you wear a t-shirt with writing on the front under a sweater you might incur a spam penalty

9. Your kids get expelled from school and you ask the school principal if you can submit a re-inclusion request

10. You can find more information on Praxeology faster than you can find your car keys.

By the way, if you find yourself back on this page after searching for Praxeology, I rest my case.....
